some original recipes.

remedy for apathy
climb into the empty spaces we fear,
slip on a protective veil of hearts,
spray the strangled sobs of tears,
wipe with failed attempts to restart
pump a small amount of courage, lather.
rinse and repeat.

soul polish, for fresh perspectives
mix an ounce of hesitation
with a cup of fresh love
let simmer over fires of anger
stir with a stick of shock
leave in fridge for a night for indifference to set fully.
use to exfoliate on a weekly basis.

a new reflection
you will need:
a shard of originality
just a little bit of imagination
the magic mirror on the wall
someone to catch you if you fall
the heat of the moment
don’t forget the acid-free glue
and of course,
a trash bag for the old you.
please dispose of yourself responsibly.

so i haven’t exercised my creative brain in pretty long. last time i wrote lyrics was near the middle of sec 2 i think. not that i regret it, they all seem so scripted and trying to be something they’re not.

actually i think those three whateveryouwanttocallthemthingies i just wrote are still experiencing identity crises (what is the plural of crisis anyway), and you know what? i have a headache.

bio study group on monday i hope, with a bit of literature mixed in for desperations’ sakes.

at least i know what to do for my sister’s 3rd birthday present. scrapbooking! is fun but expensive and i need photos now):

so please comment on what i wrote, tell me what you think, read&review, all the old plugs, and etc. try them at your own risk; some of the ingredients may be hard to come by in a tangible form, yeah.

/edit they’re not really lyrics. more of poemy things.
